About Finvera
Finvera is a modern financial data provider helping analysts, investors, and fintech builders access structured, first-party datasets. From earnings call transcripts and SEC filings to corporate actions data, we deliver clean APIs and real-time feeds tailored for speed, scale, and reliability.
We’re rethinking what a data platform should be: programmable, transparent, and built for power users.
About the Role
As a Staff Full Stack Engineer, you’ll play a foundational role in building and scaling Finvera’s core platform—across data infrastructure, APIs, client-facing tools, and internal systems.
You’ll work across the stack—from backend services and API architecture to frontend dashboards and developer experience—and partner directly with product, design, and GTM to shape new features. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role where your technical decisions will directly shape the product and platform for years to come.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications that power Finvera’s API products and internal tools
Own end-to-end feature development—from system design to deployment and monitoring
Collaborate with product and GTM teams to rapidly prototype client-facing features
Optimize data pipelines, API performance, and frontend interactions for speed and scale
Mentor junior engineers and set engineering best practices across the org
Contribute to product strategy and roadmap from a technical lens
Help scale a secure, modular architecture that supports rapid growth
What We’re Looking For
6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2+ years in a senior or staff-level role
Strong proficiency in backend languages (e.g., Go, Python, or Node) and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js)
Experience designing APIs, working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), and building scalable services
Product-minded—you care about the end user and enjoy shaping features collaboratively
Experience working in fast-moving startups or cross-functional product teams
Comfortable with modern devops workflows (CI/CD, cloud infra, monitoring)
Bonus Points
Familiarity with financial data, public company filings, or investment research workflows
Experience with streaming data, event-driven systems, or data transformation pipelines
Contributions to open-source projects or public technical writing
Why Finvera
High ownership: shape product and infrastructure from the ground up
Technical challenges with real-world financial impact
Competitive salary and equity
Fully remote, async-friendly team
Early-stage company with traction and clear product-market fit
