About Finvera
Finvera is a first-party financial data platform delivering structured datasets via clean, fast APIs. From SEC filings and earnings transcripts to insider transactions and ownership data, we serve hedge funds, fintechs, and financial institutions that demand speed, precision, and uptime.
We're building the backend of modern finance—one dataset at a time.
About the Role
We're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help scale our data infrastructure, harden our systems, and ensure high availability across all Finvera services. You’ll work closely with backend engineers, data teams, and product to design systems that are resilient, observable, and fast.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-throughput, real-time data environments and wants to own reliability end-to-end in a modern infrastructure stack.
What You’ll Do
Design and maintain infrastructure to ensure high availability and low latency of Finvera’s APIs and feeds
Own monitoring, alerting, and incident response across all production environments
Build tooling and automation for deployments, scaling, and performance testing
Define and track SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets across services
Partner with engineering to improve system architecture, reliability, and deployment workflows
Optimize costs while scaling workloads across cloud environments
Harden our systems with secure, observable, fault-tolerant design principles
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.)
Strong understanding of observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, etc.) and logging pipelines
Proficient in scripting or automation (Python, Bash, or Go preferred)
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern deployment strategies
Experience supporting high-uptime APIs or data pipelines in production environments
Strong debugging and incident management skills
Bonus Points
Experience in financial data, market feeds, or time-series infrastructure
Familiarity with PostgreSQL tuning, Redis, Kafka, or pub/sub architectures
Background in security or compliance-sensitive environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
Why Finvera
Own core infrastructure in a data-first company
High-leverage role with direct impact on product reliability and customer experience
Competitive compensation and equity
Fully remote with async-first culture
Early-stage momentum + clear enterprise demand
